Perfume is easy…a little black dress is difficult

In the words of French designer, Coco Chanel, fashion fades, only style remains the same.

Style. This is somewhat of a bewildering and vague term, but for some reason overused by all of us. What exactly do you think of when you hear the word ‘style’? Marilyn Munroe, Coco Chanel, Elizabeth Taylor? Do those new kicks define your style? Or maybe that quirky haircut with Euro specks? Probably not. Style cannot be taught or bought. It is not merely the clothes you wear, but the way in which you wear them. Style shines from the inside out.

Style is a presence, essentially an expression of yourself. It is a unique combination of the way you dress, think, interact and basically the way you present yourself to others. When you walk into a room, a person with style has presence.

So how can we be noticed on arrival?

Perfume is the easiest way to make a great first impression. First impressions could either make or break a first date, a job interview or that unexpected meeting with destiny. But perfume is also the last impression you give when leaving a room. So how do we choose the right one?

It is important to know that fragrances smell differently on each person, depending on one’s skin variant. The final scent is an individual result of the chemistry between the oils on your skin and the fragrance. So a little shopping hint – try the perfume on your skin, not on your clothes or an annoying piece of paper. And the best part of it, there’s no need to worry if you and your best friend fall in love with the same perfume because it is bound to smell differently on both of you!

Your own scent, your own presence, you will define style and turn heads. First and last impression. Make it stylish.
