Jordin hearts Victor… and Rolf. Saucy.

I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Jordin Sparks, even though for a while  there I kept getting her confused with America Ferrera. 

Seriously, don’t you think they could be sisters?

Anyway, I was recently reading a beauty interview with Jordin in OK magazine. Normally I find star’s answers to beauty questions more boring than waiting for the kettle to boil. They say naff things like, ‘drink lots of water’ and ‘I’m soooo lucky I have good genes’ and other sentiments that make you want to poke your eyeballs out with a knitting needle.

So it was a pleasant surprise when Jordin said this:

“I do my my own makeup before my concerts. When everything is so incredibly crazy around a show, it gives me that hour to be quiet and calm myself down and it gives me a sense of control. Over the years, I’ve learned what looks good.”

How incredibly refreshing and undivaish. Makes me want to be part of her inner posse. And then we’d bond over our curly hair and unruly brows and sure enough, we’d be best friends. And then, as her BF, I’d buy her a bottle of her favourite perfume, Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum by Victor & Rolf, not for her birthday or anything, just because*.

(*Well, also because Bonza Spice are having a little sale and Flowerbomb has been reduced from $235 to $201 and I just can’t say no to a bargain.)

I wonder if she’d take me on holiday with her to Cabo as well? Might need to buy a couple of bottles of Flowerbomb in that case…
