Well, I am one of those girls who has about 10 half-used perfumes on her bathroom shelf, collecting dust, and starting to smell a bit like cat you-know-what!

But I have always had a problem saying no to a good perfume sale, and an even bigger problem throwing out unused scents. That was until my gorgeous cousin and auntie bought me Femme by Hugo Boss about a year ago. They were visiting from interstate, and as a parting gift, bought me a bottle.

Now, normally I would be aghast at the thought of someone else buying me a bottle of perfume (how could they know what I like? What would it smell like on my skin? you get the drift…). But bless their little hearts – they have not only left me smelling divine, they have helped me banish my aforementioned problems with hoarding perfumes.

I now have one (yes one!) bottle of perfume in my bathroom – Femme. It is delightfully sweet and feminine, and I would encourage anyone who normally hesitates at the thought of florals to try Femme – you won’t regret it! The subtle scents of freesia and rose mix well with the fruity overtones of tangerine, lemon and apricot, and from the first day I wore it, I have had compliments. It has now become my signature scent.

So devoted am I to Femme, that I can now walk past perfume sales with my head high, and my purse safely in my handbag. If only I had the same self-control with cosmetics……
