Exciting News for the Royals?

Is the secret out? Will there be a new addition to the Windsor family? The Duchess of Cambridge let the secret slip during a visit to a primary school in Oxford.

The surprise will keep Kate company as her husband, Prince William is serving his six-week tour of duty in the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic. RAF rules mean Kate will not be able to join her husband on the posting to the remote archipelago.

The surprise is a PUPPY! It will be called Lupo. Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, let the name slip at the primary school visit, her official Clarence House spokesman confirmed yesterday.

He did not give any further details about why the couple had chosen the name for the male cocker spaniel, but it means wolf in Italian. Sources suggest the couple bought the dog a few months earlier through a family connection, aka Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton.
