So you’re an expert on gap years. Where would you recommend?
I would thoroughly recommend that Aussies continue coming to Britain for their gap years. The population exchange between Britain and Australia is vital for the future of Western civilisation and for the profits of bars in London and Sydney.

Tell us about the beginning of your acting career with the Oxford Revue?
The Oxford Revue is something a rag-tag band that, despite a heritage stretching back to Michael Palin in the 1950s, had a variable output depending on who was in it. Where do you see yourself in five years?

You’re performing at Fringe in August? Tell us about that.I’m performing in two shows this year. The first is a two-handed show with Tom Williams (who co-wrote the internet hit Newport State of Mind) called Mythbunkers, about two guys who make it their business to work against people who debunk myths by ‘bunking’ them. I’m also returning to the Gilded Balloon with my sketch group The Unexpected Items for an hour of varied comedy. I’m really looking forward to it – Edinburgh is a brilliant city and the festival is a great time to be there.
