Topshop opens in Australia

Yes the one and only is here, Topshop/Topman/The Most Incredible Clothing Store. Huge call I know. In just over a week, Australia will have its first ever Topshop. Woop! The store’s official opening s December 8, just in time for Christmas. But as anyone who has been to both Oxford Circus, NYC or any UK regional outpost of the chainstore can testify, not all Topshops are created equal. Knightsbridge for instance seems to stock different pieces to Watford, each to their own I suppose, beggars can’t be choosers, especially on this end of the planet.

So what do we need to know?

Why are we only getting Topshop now?
Topshop have wanted to open in Australia for a long time and it has been a matter of finding the right partner to join forces with – which they now have. Topshop are aware of the Australian market and interest in their brand because of exponential online growth in sales.

Which Topshop lines are we getting?
For the opening, Topshop will stock the main line, boutique and cosmetics.

When will we be getting stock deliveries?
Stock will hit floors two weeks later than the UK due to shipping delays and time taken to despatch clothes from UK HQ.

What’s the split between Topshop and Topman?
60/40
