The Allure of Kate Moss

The vintage Kate Moss is just as alluring as the modern phenomenon. The gorgeous 5-foot beauty brought the mystique of the unattainable model status back to earth. Kate is far closer (in terms of height and build) to the average woman. She brought a new “realism” to the modelling world.

The beautiful fresh, clean and natural face was seen as ushering a revolutionary catalogue model, away from the catwalk.  But the supposed realism of Kate Moss only added to her success and renowned reputation. Modelling contracts were thrown at her at a rapid pace.

In 1997, the modelling contract with Calvin Klein really catapulted Kate to superstardom and made her one of the world’s most internationally recognised supermodels. This may have had something to do with the soft porn nature of the nude campaigns Moss was featured in. The provocative campaigns provoked sales like you would not believe!

In 1998, she went red for Versace and boy was she flaming! Somehow she can pull off any look – incredible!

Kate has done it all, from fragrance to catwalk, to every magazine cover across the Continent and the Americas. A modern legend. C’est la vie Katherine Ann.
