Do it yourself fascinators, hats, dresses, coats, jewellery. The creative avant-garde world seems to be your oyster.

Vintage stores have never had a more competitive market. There is a resurgence of DIY clothing and accessories, whether creating from scratch or upgrading the old. I don’t mean fixing zippers, buttons, removing stains, holes or seams. I mean proper DIY.

Jewellery is another easy DIY. Intricately woven wired necklaces, fine dangly earrings, beaded bracelets or bohemian anklets. The options are endless and materials highly accessible.

But is there such a thing as DIY fragrance? Make your own scent? Hmmm for the celebrities there seems to be. When Chanel decided to DIY fragrance, No. 5 was the only one worthy.
