Paris Fashion Week Hermes

In only his second show since taking over the reins at Hermes from Jean-Paul Gaultier, Christian Lemaire has delivered a continued change of direction for the iconic brand.

For Hermes there has been ‘no impact of sales’ from the economic downturn which has been sweeping its way through European markets in the wake of the Greek bail out. Hermes Chief Executive Patrick Thomas said at yesterday’s paris fashion week show …’ the fact that we see nothing today, does not mean that we will see nothing tomorrow.’

Hermes has shifted in recent years from focusing on accessories to being a strong ready to wear label, with easy to wear collections.
